Sparkle plenty

is the name of this season's collection by Brisbane designer Alexandra Ranken.

Handcrafted, cool chiffon kaftans take the runway by storm. Hand drawn art is professionally photographed and sent down to Sydney, where it is digitally printed onto lightweight chiffon. Talented seamstresses make the fabric into fabulous wearable garments that are equally soft and refined. 

The impromptu and whimsical designs that make up splashes of colour are finished with delicate pin hem edges. 

Maxi boob tube skits are also made with the ever delicate and flowy chiffon. These skirts are fully lined with Georgette. These can be worn either up high so they become a colourful display or on the waist. 

To compliment beautifully and handmade locally are the Kimono capes. These add an air of sparkle and pop colour - something every woman needs as they step out for their next adventure.
